About the San Diego Professional Chapter

As career-minded professionals, the San Diego Professional Chapter of Net Impact believes in the power of business to create a socially responsible and sustainable world. Relaunched in 2010, we offer unique  networking opportunities to members. We work to keep the surf clean and the sun shining bright through Board Fellows, our educational "Coffee Series" and specialty "Community Impact" volunteer events. About Board Fellows
Board Fellows places Net Impact members on nonprofit boards for 6- to 12-month fellowships. The program brings valuable business skills to nonprofits, while exposing Net Impact members to nonprofit management and governance in practice. In addition to regular board responsibilities, many fellows also work on strategic projects, which are determined in consultation with the Executive Director and Board Mentor.
